I’m David

“I’ve always been driven by curiosity and creativity—whether it was playing piano with my dad as a kid, building forts on school camping trips, or later, launching and growing businesses that felt like meaningful expressions of who I am.

I was an early team member at Lyft, co-founded a hearing aid startup called Lively that was then acquired, and started Sagra, a hospitality venture connecting guests with sustainable farms. But after years of working in startup environments - with investors and big teams - I realized I wanted the freedom to control my time and create in a way that felt like a joyful expression of who I am. That’s when I decided to go independent, and build this business and life I love.

Everything offered here is my attempt to share and curate what I have learned about crafting a business and a life that gives you freedom, joy, and self expression - things I’ve learned through thousands of hours and many more dollars building businesses and attending leadership intensives, coaching seminars, creativity workshops, silent meditation retreats, psychedelic journeys, therapeutic sessions, and more. I hope what you find here supports you in crafting your own path and discovering your own truths.”
