Hi, I’m David
I’ve always been driven by curiosity and creativity—whether it was playing piano with my dad as a kid, building forts on school camping trips, or later, launching and growing businesses. I was an early team member at Lyft, co-founded a hearing-aid startup called Lively that was eventually acquired, and started Sagra, a hospitality venture connecting guests with sustainable farms.
After years inside fast-paced startup environments—with investors, big teams, and endless sprints—I realized I wanted to create in a way that felt like a joyful expression of who I am.
Everything here comes from what I’m actively exploring in my own life—how to live with more creativity, freedom, and honesty. I’m still figuring it out, still experimenting, still learning what actually feels true. I’d love for this to be a place where we explore together, side by side, and discover what wants to unfold next.
“Creativity isn’t something you learn, it’s something you remember. It’s already inside you, waiting to be explored, expressed, and set free.”
Remember when work felt like play?
As kids, we followed our curiosity without hesitation. We made things simply because we wanted to, not because they had to be perfect, profitable, or productive. That spirit—the one that once crafted entire worlds out of cardboard boxes and stories out of thin air—is still within you. The work here is driven by these core values:
Feeling good and doing a good job are one in the same.
Meet your fear with compassion.
Create with curiosity, not attachment.
Let your mind ask questions, but not lead.
Follow the lead of your inner child.
Practice like it’s a prayer, not a performance.
